| Okay, (#1) here is my public service announcement...  5Zigen no longer makes the FN01RC wheel in 18x9.5 with the +45 offset.  It is no longer available here or in Japan (unless a vendor has some back stock).  Instead they offer the +35 offset which may or may not rub depending on the tire.  My Goodyear F1 GS-D3 275/35/18's do rub the fenders. Which leads me to (#2).  You may need to roll the fenders.  I called several body shops and finally found a racing shop that will do it.  This racing shop in Denver was recommended to me by the 5Zigen USA rep.  I don't know anything about this shop (some of you Denver guys may have experience with them) but they did exactly what they said they would do, so no complaints.  Two brothers run the shop and it's been in business for 10 years.   I asked if the shop uses the  Eastwood tool to roll fenders and he said he has done it both ways and prefers the baseball bat method.  He said the Eastwood tool makes it too easy to stretch the fender too far if you aren't careful.  We'll see if it helps... there are several bumps/dips on the highway where it rubs the fenders... *used to* rub the fender if all goes well. (#3) I've been curious to put my Z on the dyno since doing the TT swap.  Since I was there, and it seemed like they had the time, I went ahead and asked them to dyno it.  During the first run the boost gauge was set to 1.2 kg/cm2. He could hear some pinging so they cut the pull short.  The second and third pulls they adjusted the boost gauge down to 1.0 kg/cm2 and 0.9 kg/cm2.  I am going to leave it set to 0.9 kg/cm2 which he said is a safe level.  The car blew hefty amounts of black smoke when it hit the higher rpm's.  I half expected the car to blow up or pieces of shrapnel to come flying out, but it didn't.  So tell me...  Is this good or bad???
